The Hanover School is a small, rural, public school district near Colorado Springs, CO. We have approximately 200 students in kindergarten through 12th grade, housed in a single building. We are most interested in the possibility of establishing a Freedom Shrine for our school. I would appreciate any information you might send on how we can participate with The Exchange Club in creating this celebration of our heritage. Thank you Charles Poncelow, Superintendent The Hanover School 17050 Peyton Highway Colorado Springs, CO 80928
I think the works which you have included are outstanding; however, I believe that you have omitted at least one speech which, in my estimation, richly deserves inclusion: Frederick Douglass' "The Conscience of the Nation Must Be Roused". I believe it would be a most valuable addition. Regards, Gary Krause Los Angeles, CA garyk@usctrojans.com
Greetings from Escanaba, MI Thank you for providing a spot for the collection of all of our great founding documents in one place. Thank you for the work you do in helping to reawaken Americans to the beauty of our political heritage so that our God given freedoms will not be silently stolen away. Please note that "handsome" is missing the "d" on the document page. I will be adding a link to the freedomshrine from our Intermediate School district website and my ho me page as well. Thanks again Daniel J. Hughes Escanaba, MI
I just found the Exchange Club page and Virtual Freedom Shrine. Great Job !! CFrenn@AOL Exchange Club of Marquette, Michigan
I had the opportunity to travel thru the Cincinnati Airport this last weekend and was fascinated by the display the Cincinnati Exchange Club had. I have accessed your web site and can find the transcripts of the historical documents your Club has on line but was wondering if the documents are available on line (or anywhere else) in their original handwriting.
